Affliction: Day of Reckoning is to take place at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The evening's main event is set to feature a bout between two former UFC heavyweight champions, Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett. The main event was originally scheduled to be Andrei Arlovski and Fedor Emelianenko for the WAMMA heavyweight title, but Fedor had to pull out due to a lingering hand injury.

Matt Lindland was scheduled to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort but a hand injury has forced Vitor to withdraw from the fight. A replacement has yet to be released. Also on the card is current IFL light heavyweight champion Vladimir Matyushenko as he takes on PRIDE veteran and Brazilian stand-out Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
